Play as Shang Tsung in one or two player mode. When fighting in the mirror match, morph into Sub-Zero ([Forward], [Down], [Forward] + [High Punch]). Freeze, then uppercut your opponent. This should change their colors around.
Shang Tsung: Kintaro fatality
Hold [Low Punch] for the entire round (at least 25 seconds). When the "Finish Him" message appears, release [Low Punch] at a close distance.
Shang Tsung: Soul Steal fatality
Take a step away from your opponent when the "Finish Him" message appears. Then, hold [Block] and press [Up], [Down], [Up], [Low Kick].
Smoke: Fatality
Press [Up], [Down], [Block]x2, [A] when the "Finish Him" message appears.
Sub-Zero: Fatalities
To do Sub-Zero: first fatality get about half a screen away and press [Forward], [Forward], [Down], [High Kick]. Then, go next to your opponent and press [Forward], [Down], [Forward], [Forward], [High Punch]. To do his second fatality, go all the way across the screen, hold [Low Punch], and press [Back], [Back], [Down], [Forward], then release [Low Punch].
Sub-Zero: First fatality
When "Finish Him" appears, hold [B], then press [Back]x2, [Down], [Forward]. Stand six body spaces away.
Sub-Zero new fatality
Do the first part of Deep Freeze ([Right], [Right], [Down], [X] at sweep distance), then do the Ice Grenade fatality( at long distance hold [B] and press [Left], [Left], [Down], [Right]).
Sub-Zero: Pit fatality
When "Finish Him" appears, press [Down], [Forward]x2, [Block]. Must stand close to other player.
Sub-Zero: Babality
When "Finish Him" appears, press [Down], [Back]x2, [X].
Sub-Zero: Friendship
Press [Back], [Back], [Down], [High Kick] when the "Finish him/her" message appears. Note: This also works for Reptile and Scorpion.
Sub-Zero: Easy win
Keep doing his Iceground ([Down/Left] +[A]) and the CPU will stand still until it disappears.
Defeating Shao Kahn
Choose Liu Kang and when you have the chance of getting a far distance, continuously press [Forward]x2, [B]. At this point, you will never get hit by anything. If Shao Kahn blocks the magic fireball two times and walks toward you, jump back then try to get another far distance.
Friendships and Babalities
Friendships and Babalities will work only if you win the round 2 of final round with out using [High Punch] or [Low Punch].
Easy wins
Set game to the very easy difficulty setting. Enable the "Defeat opponent with two punches code". You should now win easily. Note: You can also enable the "Fight against Shao Kahn" code as well. You will have double the strength, double the defense, a higher possibility of winning and be at Shao Kahn immediately.
Continuous moves
Note: This trick requires a controller with an auto-fire feature. Set the game on no blocks set [A] to auto-fire. Select Lui Kang or Shao Kahn. He will do an everlasting bicycle kick. Set [Y] to auto-fire and select Mileena to keep shooting. Note: Do not do this on a two player game.
Glitch: Frozen opponent
Play as Shang Sung and morph into Sub-Zero ([Forward], [Down], [Forward], [HP]) before you defeat your opponent. Defeat your opponent as Sub-Zero and do the first half of his Freeze finishing move ([Forward], [Forward], [HK]). Your opponent should freeze, and if timed correctly, you will morph back into Shang Sung while your opponent stands there frozen. Either do Shang Sung's Soul Removal (hold [Block], and press [Up], [Down], [Up], [LK]); or his Inhale (hold [HK] for a few seconds); or morph into another character and do their move while your opponent is frozen. The animation will turn brown and glitch for a second with certain finishing moves.
When "Finish Him" appears, hold both [Blocks] and press [Back]x4, [Y].

Sub-Zero: Press [Forward], [Down Forward], [Y].
Play as Shang Tsung in one or two player mode. When fighting in the mirror match, morph into Sub-Zero ([Forward], [Down], [Forward] + [High Punch]). Freeze, then uppercut your opponent. This should change their colors around.
Shang Tsung: Kintaro fatality
Hold [Low Punch] for the entire round (at least 25 seconds). When the "Finish Him" message appears, release [Low Punch] at a close distance.
Shang Tsung: Soul Steal fatality
Take a step away from your opponent when the "Finish Him" message appears. Then, hold [Block] and press [Up], [Down], [Up], [Low Kick].
Smoke: Fatality
Press [Up], [Down], [Block]x2, [A] when the "Finish Him" message appears.
Sub-Zero: Fatalities
To do Sub-Zero: first fatality get about half a screen away and press [Forward], [Forward], [Down], [High Kick]. Then, go next to your opponent and press [Forward], [Down], [Forward], [Forward], [High Punch]. To do his second fatality, go all the way across the screen, hold [Low Punch], and press [Back], [Back], [Down], [Forward], then release [Low Punch].
Sub-Zero: First fatality
When "Finish Him" appears, hold [B], then press [Back]x2, [Down], [Forward]. Stand six body spaces away.
Sub-Zero new fatality
Do the first part of Deep Freeze ([Right], [Right], [Down], [X] at sweep distance), then do the Ice Grenade fatality( at long distance hold [B] and press [Left], [Left], [Down], [Right]).
Sub-Zero: Pit fatality
When "Finish Him" appears, press [Down], [Forward]x2, [Block]. Must stand close to other player.
Sub-Zero: Babality
When "Finish Him" appears, press [Down], [Back]x2, [X].
Sub-Zero: Friendship
Press [Back], [Back], [Down], [High Kick] when the "Finish him/her" message appears. Note: This also works for Reptile and Scorpion.
Sub-Zero: Easy win
Keep doing his Iceground ([Down/Left] +[A]) and the CPU will stand still until it disappears.
Defeating Shao Kahn
Choose Liu Kang and when you have the chance of getting a far distance, continuously press [Forward]x2, [B]. At this point, you will never get hit by anything. If Shao Kahn blocks the magic fireball two times and walks toward you, jump back then try to get another far distance.
Friendships and Babalities
Friendships and Babalities will work only if you win the round 2 of final round with out using [High Punch] or [Low Punch].
Easy wins
Set game to the very easy difficulty setting. Enable the "Defeat opponent with two punches code". You should now win easily. Note: You can also enable the "Fight against Shao Kahn" code as well. You will have double the strength, double the defense, a higher possibility of winning and be at Shao Kahn immediately.
Continuous moves
Note: This trick requires a controller with an auto-fire feature. Set the game on no blocks set [A] to auto-fire. Select Lui Kang or Shao Kahn. He will do an everlasting bicycle kick. Set [Y] to auto-fire and select Mileena to keep shooting. Note: Do not do this on a two player game.
Glitch: Frozen opponent
Play as Shang Sung and morph into Sub-Zero ([Forward], [Down], [Forward], [HP]) before you defeat your opponent. Defeat your opponent as Sub-Zero and do the first half of his Freeze finishing move ([Forward], [Forward], [HK]). Your opponent should freeze, and if timed correctly, you will morph back into Shang Sung while your opponent stands there frozen. Either do Shang Sung's Soul Removal (hold [Block], and press [Up], [Down], [Up], [LK]); or his Inhale (hold [HK] for a few seconds); or morph into another character and do their move while your opponent is frozen. The animation will turn brown and glitch for a second with certain finishing moves.
