Press [X], [L1], [L2] after the "Prepare For Kombat" screen. The sound of a cymbal will confirm correct code entry. Press [Up] at the "Kombat" option of the Kombat Kube and a blue question mark will appear. The following options will be available: Free Play (off/on), Smoke (off/on), Fatality Time (on/off), and Level Select (off/on).

Press [X], [Circle], [Triangle], [R1]x2, [R2]x2, [R1]x2 at the copyright screen. Shao Kahn will say "You'll never win" to confirm correct code entry. Press [Up] at the "Kombat" option of the Kombat Kube and a blue question mark will appear with two more options: Round Match (off/on), 1 Hit Death (off/on).
Unlimited continues
Press [Up]x2, [Right]x2, [Left]x2, [Down]x2 during story mode.
