If you have Romance of the Three Kingdoms X save data on your memory card, it will unlock two extra scenarios, "Lu Bu Campaign" and "Power Struggle.

If you clear the "Rise of Heroes" scenario, historical portraits and models will become available for created officers.

Unlock Hidden Female Characters
Beat the game using a female ruler to unlock the following female characters: Dong Bai, Du Shi, Guan Yinping, Guo Shi, Li Shi, Lu Yusheng, Pang E, Xiahou Shi, Yang Shi, Zhang Shi.

More Powerful Skills and 100 Stat Limit
Successfully complete the game under any scenario.

Rare Skills
Watch at least thirty event stills.

Zhuge Liang Referred as Kong Ming
Play as Lui Bei when Zhuge Liang is an officer in the same city as Lui Bei. Call a council with Zhuge Liang included and Lui Bei will refer to him as Kong Ming. Kong Ming is a second name that Zhuge Liang is referred to by in the actual book the game is based on. He does not seem to be referred to in this way any other time except the council meetings.

Successfully complete the indicated Challenge Scenario to unlock the corresponding bonus officer:

Cui Zhouping - Hunting Dong Zhuo Challenge Scenario.
Guan Ning - Guan Du Skirmish Challenge Scenario.

Meng Jian - Liu Bei's Subjugation Challenge Scenario.

Wang Tao - Nanman Rebellion Challenge Scenario.
