Unlock Characters
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character. Note: All the characters can be unlocked in "Easier" mode with one round:

Akuma - After unlocking all characters except for Seth, Gouken, and Akuma, play Arcade mode as Ryu. You should not use any continues, and you must have at least two "Perfect" victories and two "Ultra" combo finishes.If done correctly, Akuma should appear after defeating Seth. Defeat Akuma to unlock him.
Cammy - Complete Arcade mode with Crimson Viper.
Dan - Complete Arcade mode as Sakura.
Fei Long - Complete Arcade mode as Abel.
Gen - Complete Arcade mode as Chun-Li.
Gouken - Unlock Akuma, then complete Arcade mode as him without using any continues. Then complete Arcade mode once more as Ryu, without using continues and have at least two "Perfect" victories and three "Ultra" combo finishes. After you defeat Seth, Gouken will appear. Defeat him to unlock him.
Rose - Complete Arcade mode as Bison.
Sakura - Complete Arcade mode as Ryu.
Seth - Complete Arcade mode as all starting characters.

Japanese Voices
Successfully complete Arcade mode. An option to change the voices to Japanese will be unlocked at the "Options" menu.

Challenge Bonuses
Complete the indicated challenge with any character to unlock the corresponding bonus. Challenges must be completed in order to receive the bonus. Note: Once a color is unlocked it can be used by any character:

Gallery Artwork
Complete a character's Combo Challenge to unlock his or her artwork at the "Gallery" menu.

Gallery Movies
Successfully complete Arcade mode with a character to unlock their prologue and ending movies at the "Gallery" menu.

Unlock Characters
Start a game in Arcade mode and set it to easiest difficulty and one round. With any character, press [Hard Kick] repeatedly. You will defeat the CPU every time. Defeat all other characters with one character at a time. After you have defeated all CPU opponents with every character, you will unlock all characters except for Akuma and Gouken.

Gundam Wing Reference
You can see Gundam Wing anime heroes in the game. In Chun-Li's beginning video, she tells two civilians to step back. Those persons are Trowa, pilot of Gundam "Heavy Arms", and Duo, pilot of Gundam Deathstrike.

Unlock Conditions for All Colors
To unlock every color in the game you have to play the Time Trial and Survival modes. Please note that these HAVE to be done in order. You con NOT skip to the challenges where the colors are. Also, you unlock these per color, not per Character. So you may complete these with for example: Ryu, and gain the colors of every fighter on the roster.

Color 3 - Time Attack Normal 1.
Color 4 - Survival Normal 1.
Color 5 - Time Attack Normal 6.
Color 6 - Survival Normal 6.
Color 7 - Time Attack Normal 11.
Color 8 - Survival Normal 11.
Color 9 - Time Attack Normal 16.
Color 10 - Survival Normal 16.

Unlock Prologues/Endings
Ending - Beat Arcade mode with any character to get thier respective ending.
Prologues - View a character's Prologue as you start arcade mode.
