Hard difficulty setting

Using the Whip
Not only can the Whip get far items, but it can also move some heavy cubes and perform a swinging move. Hold [B] while in the air, and when it grapples onto something, press [Left] or [Right] to swing. Release [B] to let go the Whip.

Gain more level with Chain Rod
Keep hitting on a life or money object to earn more attack points.

Combo
Equip Ultimate Form, then use Buster Shot. Keep pressing [Down/Forward] + [B] (for Buster attack). Anything in front of you will be obliterated.

Equip all the EX-Skills. Dash and Z-Saber, then hold [Up] and Z-Saber, and hold [Down] and press Z-Saber.

To Equip Chain Rod as [R] and Z-Saber as [B], hold [B] + [R] until they fully charge. Then, release [B] then [R]. Note: This is a close range attack.

Crystal Caves: Secret area
When you start, go up the hill and destroy two robots. Then, go down but watch out for the spikes at the bottom of the hill. Start going up the second hill. Jump on the ledge but do not jump over the ledge. Instead, slide down the wall on the right in the pit and keep holding it. You should go into a secret area that has a cyber-elf capsule and a life. Note: When you get out, you will need the light-blue armor. If you do not have it, you will fall into the spikes.

Defeating Bosses
For easy wins against most Bosses, charge the Z-Saber and attack the Boss. Keep hitting him and, with five or six hits, he will be destroyed.

Elemental Chips and Ex-abilities
You can use certain Elemental Chips with Zero's Ex-abilities. Thereis no need to charge up the Z-Saber (except for the Z-Buster).

Fire chip
Press [Up] + [Attack] (similar to Zero's X4 move).
Charged Buster (sparks are left after hitting an enemy)

Lightning chip
Press "Dash" + [Attack] (a lightning sword pierces through an enemy)
Charged Buster (a ball of electricity)

Ice chip
Press [Down] + [Attack] in mid-air (another of Zero's X4 move).
Charged Buster (turns into three rays; X3's Sting Chameleon)

Normal chip
Charged Buster (laser shot in Megaman 8)

Energy Form (Yellow)
Enemies drop more Energen Caps. and Crystal Caps.
Grab 25 Life Capsules to unlock.

X Form (Dark Blue)
Buster becomes more powerful while shooting a charged shot; you can now fire more quickly.
Kill 50 enemies with Buster Gun to unlock.

Power Form (Purple)
Always biggest saber edge.
Pull anything 30 times with the Chain Rod (even slightly) to unlock.

Defense Form (Light Green)
Damage taken is halved.
Kill 20 enemies with charged Boomerang Shield to unlock.

Active Form (Orange)
Z-Saber is "upgraded". You can now do roll saber attacks, and more damage while jumping.
Kill 20 enemies with Dash Slice attack to unlock.

Erase Form (Magenta)
Z-Saber and Shield can destroy enemy's bullets.
Get 30 ricochets with Boomerang Shield to unlock.

Glitch: Misspelling
When you defeat every Boss, X will appear and start talking about the Dark Elf. He explains that he is trying to keep her asleep and says "With my remaining power, I'm still TYING NOT WAKE her up...," instead of "With my remaining power, I'm still TRYING NOT TO wake her up..."

After defeating the four bosses on the monitors, there is a scene where Elpizo tells the members of the resistance to fire at Neo Arcadia. Ciel comes in with the Scientist and tells Elpizo to give them time (or something similar). Before Elpizo teleports, he says "Don't worry. We can work this OUR later", instead of "We can work this OUT later."
