Cheat mode
Select "Play It" at the main menu, then choose the "Pick Up Game" option. Select your difficulty setting, choose to be either home or away, and enter your name. Then, enter one or more of the following codes when the "Enter cheat codes now" message appears at the bottom left of the "Player Ready" screen.

Unlocking Street Legends
Unlocking Street Legends prentices provide the type of tournament in Be A Legend mode.
You must play five more pickup games to go from a score of 440 to 450 to unlock the last Rucker Court. They must be pickup games (no tourney or challenges), but can be on any court. Once this is done, you will unlock the court and have access to sweep the legends on their home turf.
Easy GameBreaker
Do Off The Wheezy five times then dunk when you have a GameBreaker. After you pocket it, you well automatically gain your second GameBreaker.
To get an easy GameBreaker, do this combo about two or three times. First, do about three or four tricks. Then, do about an Off The Heezay. Then, do a couple of pumpfakes followed by several dishes (fake shot, then pass). You must do this without the shot clock running out. Note: Change the shot clock time if desired.
Click Off The Hezzy five times, wait five seconds, do Back To Papa, then a dunk.
Get a rebound or a block when the other team has the ball. Then, pass it as soon as you get it to one of your players. With that player, do a level 3 or 4 trick. Then, with that same player, do a slam dunk. Do this three times and you will have a GameBreaker.
Do the "Downtown Rebound" move about two or three times to get a GameBreaker. Do this by getting the ball and do the "Give 'n Go" trick. Then, move towards the basket using two turbos then press [Shoot]. When you are high enough, press [Pass].
Back 2 Papa
When you are close to the rim, press the two [Turbos] + [Pass]. If done correctly, you will throw the ball very hard to the backboard and get the ball back. This results in a decent amount of points when you make a dunk with the same player. If done wrong, the player will throw the ball, it will hit the bottom board, and the other team will steal it. You need to be at a good distance (not too close or far). Sometimes if you are close to an opponent and try to do Back 2 Papa, it will do an Off The Heezy.
Hint-Easy steal
Unlock the Nelly and the St. Lunatics team. Even though it does not appear that they are good at steals, they are very good. If you do not control the player that is guarding the CPU player, that player that is on your team that you are not controlling will steal the ball.
Easy pick-up game wins
In the pick-up games, the CPU randomly picks from the available no name players. If you go to "Create Player" and create a lot of players with 0/5 for all stats, you will have a good chance of playing a team that has a player with no stat points, making the game a little easier to win.
Easy points in NBA challenge
Play NBA challenge with two players. If the person can shoot a 3m have player two come up and push the man guarding player one by pressing [Black]. This way, player one will have a clear shot at the hoop for an easy 2 point shot.
Iceman and Zeke moves
George Gervin does his finger roll at the beginning called Iceman, and Isiah Thomas does a 360 finger roll called Zeke. It is random, but to do their move choose them and have a wide open lane. Press [Shoot] close (but not too close) to the basket and they will do it. Do Iceman on the side and not the middle of the basket.

Biggie Little and special trick move the Biggie Little: Clear the Foster Beach tournament (single elimination) This unlocks him in create a team.Unlock last challenge in Be A Legend mode
Bonafide and special dunk move the Bonafide: Clear the Rucker Park tournament (single elimination) This unlocks him in create a team.
Stretch and special dunk move the Stretch: Clear the Soul In The Hole tournament (single elimination).
Dime and special trick move Droppin Dimes: Clear the Lincoln College tournament (best of three). This unlocks him in create a team
Osmosis and special trick move The Oz: Clear the Mosswoood tournament (double elimination). This unlocks him in a create team.
Julius Erving ( Dr. J): Clear the Legendary Challenge in Be A Legend mode. This is the final Boss, not a tournament.
