Playing as Sheila
Master the Super Stomp when playing as Sheila the Kangaroo. Press [X] at the top of your jump to easily clear her levels.

Spyro's moon jump
Press [L1] to moon jump when playing as Spyro.

Glide farther
Make sure you have some room to charge and move slightly. Then, charge ([Square]) toward the cliff you want to glide off. Jump ([X]) while still charging at the end of the cliff. At the top of your charging jump, glide (press [X] in the air, stop charging). You can press [Triangle] at the end of your glide to go even farther. Note: Make sure you do not charge downward before you glide. This may require some practice.

Extra lives
Get one of the shiny blue life giving butterflies (the bottled ones are preferred), Have Sparx chase it and at the correct moment, pause game play. If it does not work, quickly try again. If done correctly, you should see Sparx eat it at the menu screen.

If you get ten butterflies, you will get an extra life.

Bugbot Factory
When you get to the area near the end where there is a group of Bugbots and two of the green fireball shooting Bugbots coming in diagonally, go back to the big room where the force field circle used to be. Go back where there is a green room with a health butterfly and an invincibility power-up butterfly. Get the power-up butterfly and charge ([Square]) back to that area with the two green Bugbots. Go to the right side and run over any Bugbot you see, including the green ones. Clear out an entire side of the room, then shoot the remaining ones on the other side. If you already used the power-up butterfly before you got to this part, let the Bugbots eat you, and then you will start at the entrance of this area; go back and a new one will be there.

Cloud Spires: Mid-air fumble
Just before arriving at Moneybags is a platform going up and down. Push against the wall, and at the top Spyro will fumble in mid-air.

Enchanted Gardens: Another world
While in the skateboarding part of Enchanted Gardens, get the "Squid Skateboard" and go to the grass next to the portal. Jump and climb up the corner of roof of the portal and mountain (not hitting it) and you end up going to another world.

skateboard trick
Find and blow up the Sorceress statue, then jump into the hole. Go into the portal, then after Hunter teaches you some tricks, do not challenge him. You can now do the normal Gnasty Gnorc trick twice without stopping. Note: This move is almost impossible.

Enchanted Towers: Rock climbing
At the skate park, jump onto the grass to the left when you come in with a skateboard. Jump directly next to the entrance up the wall. Spyro will run up the wall and the level will begin to fade and swirl. Note: This will cost a life.

Enchanted Towers: Get killed in skate Frozen Altars: Two player mode
Get the two eggs by boxing and defeating the yeti two times. Use a second controller and attempt to replay the match. Player one will control Bently and player two will control the Yeti.

Defeat the Yeti in two rounds when controlled by a second player to get a skill point. Every time you get a skill pound, you will get a life. You can repeat this as needed.

Frozen Altars: Getting to the top of the Temple
Go up the windy path and onto the ledge. Fly over to where the second laser is located, but do not go in. Turn right and you will see a Rhynoc shooting at you. Flame this Rhynoc, but do not charge him. Instead, jump on top of the ice then jump on the edge of the temple. From here you can get to the top of the Temple, collect all the gems, then fly to the top of the other Temple and onto the island with the egg. Do not worry if you accidentally charge and kill this Rhynoc; you will just need to exit the level and reenter and he will appear again.

Lost Fleet: Skateboard race
Use the following trick to help win the Rhynoc Skateboard Race. Go to the part where there are the two thin land chunks very close together. There is one crab on each chunk. The ledge over to the right is where you need to go. Turn backwards and scale the side of the wall. Then, press [X] and hold on. You will fly over the top of the mountain and land back where Hunter is standing. When you go past him, you will notice the lap counter will have moved up one lap. This is an easy way to get the skill point for breaking the race record.

Lost Fleet: Unharmed by lava
Go to the skate park, go up the little hill, and jump in the lava. The lava will not hurt you. You will just keep burning and jumping.

Midnight Mountain: Level warp
Go to the sign that has Sparx on it and talk to Zoe. Then, complete that level and get the egg. When you return, Zoe will say that Sparx can warp you to any level. To do the warp, go in the atlas complete the other Sparx bonus levels.

Molten Crater: Extra life
When you have to chase the egg thief, somewhere near the cave you exited will be a wall with red cracks in it. Charge into that wall and it will break away. There will be a butterfly inside, which you can eat to get an extra life.

Sunny Villa: Circular jump
On the skate park in course record mode, jump onto the very high path with two lizards on it. At the end, pull a fairly hard right. On the roof, keep pressing [Right]. You will fall off your skateboard. Wait until the timer reaches four seconds then glide down. You should be still gliding when it ends.

Sunrise Springhome: Avoid Bianca
When you first start the game, you are in a little spot at Sunrise Springhome. If you jump in front of the portal SunnyVilla the young sorceress (Bianca) will threaten you. To avoid this, jump onto the rock that is in front of the small waterfall, then glide onto the top of the small waterfall and into the creek. If it does not work at first, try it again.
