Goal scored or fight won sound effects
Hold [Triangle] after scoring a goal or winning a fight to hear a random sound effect (hockey horn, air horn, fireworks, or crazed fan).

Three minute power-plays
First, get into a fight, but do not punch the other player right away. Push towards him, then keep tapping [Triangle]. Your player will grab his jersey and punch him. If your player wins, he will get a five minute major for fighting, and you will get a two minute minor for roughing. After your player serves his two minutes, you will have a three minute power-play. If you score on that power-play, the player will stay in the penalty box because he was serving a major.

Easy goal
Pause game play in single player mode, go to the controllers option, select the other team and pull their goalie. Play on their team for at least twenty seconds. Their goalie will be pulled until you put him back. This works in season mode, and during the playoffs.

a season
Select "Season" at the main menu and choose the desired difficulty setting. Keep that difficulty level highlighted, press [Start], load an existing season saved game, and continue game play.

Glitch: Late announcement
After a goal is scored in overtime the music will continue and the players will celebrate the win. Listen to the music until it ends, and the PA announcer will announce the goal while there is no one in the arena.
