Unlock Characters
Note: Sunday Tickets are red, Magazine Tickets are blue both of which can drop from random enemies in quest mode along with extra orbs and support characters, what and whom you get are totally at random.

009 (Cyborg 009) - After all other characters are unlocked (including Yaiba) go to arcade mode and fight untill the last stage. Fight and win against 009 to unlock.
Boss (Sunday x Magazine) - Complete all 3 missions (and one boss fight) in each of the 3 major stages in quest mode to unlock the final boss stage, challenge and win to unlock.
Croissant Kamen (Air Gear) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Devilman (Devilman) - Collect 5/5 Magazine Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (Third and last pair of 5 tickets).
Joe (Ashita no Joe [Tomorrow's Joe] - Collect 5/5 Magazine Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (Second pair of 5 tickets).
Kotaro (Kotaro Makaritoru! [Kotaro Breakthrough!]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Kyo (Samurai Deeper Kyo) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Mechazawa (Cromartie High School) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Miu (Shijo Saikyo no Deshi Kenichi [Kenichi - The Mightiest Disciple]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
R (Kyuukyoku Choujin R [R The Ultimate Esper]) - Collect 5/5 Sunday Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (Second pair of 5 tickets).
Recca (Recca no Honoo [Flame of Recca]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Support Characters - Gain through random chest drops from enemies in any stage in quest mode (excluding boss battles). The amount of and whom you get are at random.
Takamura (Hajime no Ippo [Fighting Spirit]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Takizawa (Honoo no Tenkousei [Blazing Transfer Student]) - Collect 5/5 Sunday Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (Third and final pair of 5 tickets).
Tiger Mask (Tiger Mask) - Collect 5/5 Magazine Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (First pair of 5 tickets).
Tokine (Kekkaishi [Barrier]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Ueki (Ueki no Housoku [The Law of Ueki]) - Beat Arcade Mode.
Ushio (Ushio and Tora) - Collect 5/5 Sunday Tickets in Quest mode and win the fight challenge (First pair of 5 tickets).
Yaiba (Kenyuu Densetsu Yaiba [Legend of the Swordmaster Yaiba]) - After all other characters are unlocked go to arcade mode and fight untill the last stage. Fight and win against Yaiba to unlock.
