As soon as it time to shoot, just tap [Shoot] once. You will make at least 80% of your freethrows.

Gamesliders
Enter the options to find "Gamesliders". Use it to help make your team shots and have your opponent miss. Note: You cannot earn points for the college store while using Gamesliders.

Super created player limitation
When creating a player, do not make them all 99 in stat points. Make them about 90, and do not go over 96. If you do, your player will get too confident in his shots, steals, etc. and will get too fatigued trying to accomplish them all. It does not matter if you are not the person controlling the created player.
