Cheat Mode
Press [Ctrl]+E or [Ctrl]+W and you'll hear the low double beep. Then type the codes in:

battlecheat - Enable in-flight cheats
canttouchthis - Invincibility
fillerup - Unlimited flight range
knowitall - All research is yours
quickbase - Finishes all bases currently under construction
payday - Money
joyride - No aliens
fillerup - Unlimited flight range
smarms - Side mission: Arms Dealer
smrecon - Side mission: Corporate Reconnaissance
smnova - Side mission: Nova Bomb
smrescue - Side mission: Pirate Base Rescue
smrogue - Side mission: Rogue Freighter

You can use these keyboard shortcuts when in-flight cheats are enabled (battlecheat cheat):

[Alt]+[X] - Cycle weapons
[Alt]+[~] - Destroy targeted object
[Alt]+[2] - Disable target
[Alt]+[O] - Suicide
