Extra experience
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "st_db_attr" file in the "stta\units" folder. Change this portion of line 26 from "1 0 0 15 0 0 1" to "1 0 0 200 0 0 1".

Extra equipment
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "interface.txt" files in the "mission" folder. Change the various equipment values from 3 to 12 or 18. The values in all the files must be changed for each mission.

Extra storage depot ammunition
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "st_db_attr" file in the "stta\units" folder. Change the "10000" in position 6 of line 29 to "100000".

Unlock weapons and tech soldiers
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "interface.txt" file in the "mission" folder. Locate the "Excluded" heading in the file and remove all the lines in that area. This will unlock all the weapons and all the tech soldiers (MIST, psychic) in that particular mission.

Slower enemies
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "st_db_attr" file in the "stta\units" folder. Go to line 26 and find the "-50-" entry located fourteen positions after the "1". Change this value to set how quickly the Warrior Bugs move.

Royal Guard/X-Bug Weakness
The Royal Guard bug and the X-Bug both have similar weaknesses in that they are invincible everywhere except for their red eyes. For the Royal Guard bug, simply shooting out both eyes is just enough to expose the vulnerable nerve stem for your weapons to kill it. The X-Bug makes this harder by forcing you to shoot the nerve stem to provoke it into rearing up. This exposes its yellow weak spot underneath. You only have two whole seconds to spray it before you have to expend a ton of ammo on the nerve stem to make it rear up once more.

Hack: Unlock All Time Attack Levels
Note: This edits critical game files, so back up the originals before you mistakenly alter your FAT. Open the profile folder of your Starship Trooper game directory \...\Empire Interactive\SST\profiles\...\ and locate the Profile file you wish to edit. Open that file using a text editor such as Notepad and locate the text string of the level you want available in Time Attack and set it equal to the number 1. An example:

// -- LevelRecord_Level_Bait_0002 -- class_LevelRecord class_LevelRecord:
{__GUID: { "LevelRecord_Level_Bait_0002" }
LevelName: { "Level_Bait" }
UnlockedForLevelAttack: { "1" }
LevelAttackEasyAvailable: { "1" }
LevelAttackNormalAvailable: { "1" }
LevelAttackHardAvailable: { "1" }
LevelAttackBestTime: { "0" }
LevelAttackBestScore: { "0" }
EntityDeathRecords: { [ ] } }

After making these changes, save the file with the original extension and it should work. Note that in Time Attack mode, after the timer is over 30:00:00 you will start losing points but not kills.
