Cheat Mode
Select "Additional Content" at the main menu, then select "Promotion Code". Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function (the message "You have successfully unlocked the missions" will appear to confirm correct code entry):

Cheat Mode
Now you need to modify your desktop shortcut. Right click on the Far Cry icon on your desktop, select properties and a new screen should pop up. Add the " -DEVMODE" parameter (without the quotes) at the end of the target field. Apply the changes, start the game and press one of the following keys while playing to activate the corresponding cheat function:

[-] - Decrease speed
[=] - Increase speed
[Backspace] - Toggle invincibility
[F1] - Toggle first and third views
[F2] - Advance to next checkpoint
[F3] - Warp to Spawn point
[F4] - Toggle no clipping
[F5] - Return to default speed
[F9] - Save current position
[F10] - Load current position
[F11] - Toggle extra information
[O] - 999 ammunition
[P] - All weapons

Shortcut Cheats
To enable these cheats make a shortcut on your desktop to your Far Cry 2 executable ("\Program Files\Ubisoft\Far Cry 2\bin\farcry2.exe"). Modify the shortcut and add the following command-line options to enable the corresponding cheat:

-GameProfile_SkipIntroMovies 1 - Skips the intro movies for quicker play.
-GameProfile_GodMode 1 - God mode (nter AFTER completion of tutorial).
-GameProfile_UnlimitedAmmo 1 - Unlimited ammo (enter AFTER completion of tutorial).
-GameProfile_UnlimitedReliability 1 - Unlimited weapon reliablity.
-GameProfile_AllWeaponsUnlock 1 - Unlock weapons (it will only unlock the weapons available at that part of the map).

NOTE: These cheats were tested with Far Cry 2 version 1.01.

Golden AK47
Look at the map when at the Northern Territory (the area where you start). You will see a bus station at almost each corner of the map (top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right). Go to the bottom right bus station by following the road south, but use the road closest to the edge of the map. You will go around a small mountain. The diamond light will flash and you should pull up to a small shack. Inside you will see some ammunition, the golden AK47 and a diamond case.

On Northern District map, west of Cattle Xing, there is a large rocky area that looks like a turkey drumstick on the map. Walk around to the bottom left of the "rocky drumstick" to find a hidden cave with wooden slats across the entrance. Break open the slats to find another golden AK47.

Jackal Jobs
When you do the job for the Jackal, be careful. If you go for the mission with the blue square on it first, be prepared. You will have to face all your past and present friends for a big showdown. Do not believe them when they say they have your back.

UFLL Jobs
When you do the jobs for the UFLL and its enemy, and your friend tells you to do a favor for him or her, do it. You have already been paid in full and you will come back to the original mission afterwards.
