Arcanine
Throw Pester Balls in the pits across from Charmeleon
in the Volcano level (almost to the end, on the right). It appears
less frequently then the Growlithes.
Get a photograph while it is shaking embers of its body for more
points.
Articuno
Go to the Cave level and follow it almost to the end.
When you see the Jynxs play the Poké Flute. The Jynxs will
perform a ritual dance, and the ice egg will float in the air
and hatch into Articuno.
Chansey
Chansey appears when a Pester Ball is thrown at the
ball that Eevee is chasing in the Beach level.
After hitting the ball that Eevee is chasing, it becomes a Chansey.
Take a photograph of it tossing the egg in the air. Professor
Oak will comment, "Oh, what a funny pose!" and give
you a few extra points.
Charmander
Get stuck behind Moltres' egg in the Volcano level
and look left to see two Charmanders. Throw an apple at both of
them and they will roar to call more Charmanders to join them.
You can get almost ten Charmanders in the same photograph for
extra points.
Get stuck behind Moltres' egg in the Volcano level. Throw an apple
to attract many Charmanders. When they have come down, throw more
apples to get them very close. After they have eaten the apples
they will start jumping and roaring at the camera. If not, play
the Poke Flute and they begin to jump when the song is over. This
will give you the opportunity to get a really close shot of many
Charmander in great poses.
After you get the ten Charmanders in the Volcano level, play the
Poke Flute and they will all line up and march in place.
Do not try to get Moltres when you have the opportunity. Instead,
turn left and you will see two Charmander. Throw apples at them
and they will call their friends. Keep throwing food so they get
closer to you. Take a picture of them when they growl, or you
can play the Pokeflute and get them while they are dancing.
Do the six Charmander trick in the Volcano level, then use the
Pokeflute. Look closely to see that one of the Charmander has
an angry face. Note: This does not give you extra points.
Cloyster
Take photographs and throw Pester Balls at the Shellders
in the River level. If done correctly, a Cloyster will appear
later in the level.
Diglett
Diglett appears on the left side of the Tunnel level,
next to a Pikachu.
Ditto
The three Bulbasaurs at the beginning of the Cave level
are really Dittos. Throw some Pester Balls at them to change them
back into their true form.
Dratini
Throw Pester Balls to the left of the whirlpool in
the Valley level.
You can find a larger Dratini near the beginning of the River
level. Throw Pester Balls in the water Immediately after passing
the Squirtles. If done correctly, Dratini should jump out right
in front of you. Keep trying, as this is difficult to do.
Dragonite
Throw pesterballs into the whirlpool in the Valley
level.
Electabuzz
Look to the right in the middle of the Tunnel level
to see Electabuzzs standing in front of large screens. Throw apples
at one of them and it will walk approach use a Thundershock attack.
Take a photograph while it is emitting energy for extra points.
Electrode
Throw a Pester Ball at the non-moving Electrode in
the Tunnel level. It will self-destruct for a better photograph.
When you start the Tunnel level, look at the first Electrode.
When it starts to explode, and beams shoot out, snap a photo of
it. Professor Oak will award 1000 Pose Points for that photograph.
Geodude
Throw a pester ball in the Valley level to knock down
the Geodudes for a better photograph.
Graveler
Play the Poké Flute at the location in the Valley
level that has three Gravelers. They will wake up and dance for
a photograph that is worth more points.
Growlithe
Throw Pester Balls in the pits across from Charmeleon
in the Volcano level (almost to the end, on the right).
Get a photograph while it is shaking embers of its body for more
points.
Throw a Pester Ball into all three volcanoes in the Volcano level.
Then, throw apples close to the path. All three Growlithes will
run to the apples. Take as many photos possible of all three for
more points.
Haunter
Take a photograph of the purplish mist in the first
part of the Tunnel level. A Haunter will appear when the photograph
is developed.
Kakuna
To get a better photograph of Kakuna, hit a still Electrode
in the Tunnel level and it will explode. The Kakunas will fall
down from the ceiling and remaining hanging there for awhile.
Try to get a shot with all three for even more points.
Larpas
Play the Poké Flute near the shore of the Beach
level for a better shot of Larpas.
Face towards the left at the Beach level and watch the shore line
closely. Take a photograph of the Lapras whenever they appear,
no matter what the quality. When approaching the Kangaskan, look
towards the water and a Lapras will emerge from the water. This
is the best photograph of the Lapras in the level.
Hints
"Dead" Pokemon
At times if a Pester Ball is thrown at a Pokemon, it
will fall down and appear as if it were dead. Take a photograph
of it in this position to get 800 points for the "Dead Pokemon"
pose.
Faster points screen
Hold [B] after you finish with a level and Professor
Oak gives you points for your pictures.
Too many Pokemon for points
Taking a picture that contains too many of the same
Pokemon, such as ten Charmanders, will result in less points.
Glitch: Mewtwo's tail
Go to the River level. When you get to the Metapods,
throw an apple at them all, then look up very quickly. You should
see a tail from at Mewtwo. Take a picture of it. When you get
Professor Oak's rating, he says it is not worth any points.
