Nine lives
Enter "AAAAAAAA" as a password. Ignore the invalid password message. Change the last character of the password to "9" and exit the password screen.

Pause game play, hold [A] + [B] + [C], then hold Up for approximately three seconds. Press [Up/Right], [Right], [Down/Right], [Down], [Down/Left], [Left], [Up/Left], [Up]. The game should resume. The remaining number of lives should be 99 after the game is paused again. If not, repeat the code. Note: This code may result in circling red houses appearing on a pink background. The game must be reset when this happens.
