Steal opponent's finishing move
After filling your special meter, hold [A] to do a heavy grapple to your opponent then press [L] + [R] + [A] + [B] to do your opponent's finishing move.

Steal the ref's finishing move
Use the following trick to perform the ref's own finisher on him. Target the ref by choosing him with the [C-stick]. Get ready for a special move by pressing [A] + [B] when you have a full meter. Get into a catched state with the ref and press [L] + [R] + [A] + [B]. Your character will now begin to perform the Pedigree on the ref, which is his default finisher.

Switch your submission
Use the following trick if you think your friend is cheating and watches what direction you press while you are in a submission sequence. First, pick a direction. After he picks his, switch it to a different direction. This should always work and will confuse your friend.

Put opponent through two tables with Jack Hammer
Go to the RAW arena (preferably in a Tables match). Get a table and go to top of the ramp. Get on the announcer's table. Set up the table horizontally across the announcer's table. Get an opponent on the table. Have your back to table you set up and do the Jack Hammer. If done correctly, your opponent should go through both tables.

Defeating Kurt Angle
Build up submissions early to defeat Kurt Angle in his "Win By Submission Only" match. He is very difficult and will counter 50% of your attacks.

Handicap Table match: Easy win
Your first opponent is easy to defeat, as the is using tag team rules for handicap matching. You can take full advantage of this. Knock Orlando Jordan on the ground quickly, then run out of the ring, grab the table, then set it in the nearest turnbuckle away from Heidenrich. When OJ gets up (or you pick him up), whip him to the table. He should just crash into it, but not break it. Either slam him through it, or use a move like the Spear or Gore to put him through it.

Royal Rumble match: Easy throw out
Have two people in a Royal Rumble. As soon as another person enters, attempt to throw him or her out, then do a suplex. Then, have the other person hit you and the person that you are suplexing you should be fine, and the opponent should be out. Sometimes they will stand up and disappear.

Last Ride grapple
To get the Last Ride as a heavy grapple, buy The Undertaker template and add it to your wrestler. You will now have the Last Ride as a heavy grapple. You can also go back and edit other things afterward. It is very useful if you need a good move.

Have titles when you start story mode
When you are going through story mode, win a title. Then, make a new game with a new wrestler. You will come out with that exact title, with the Raw or SmackDown championship.

Strongest created wrestler
To make the strongest created wrestler, raise all his dirty abilities to 10. Raise his strength abilities to 10. Set him as a dirty wrestler and give him all the dirty moves you can. When used, he will inflict major damage to his opponent.

Glitch: Perfect stats
Start a new story, then play as far as desired, but do not complete it. Save the game, distribute the experience points, save again, then exit. Go back into story mode. Choose "New" for your story, and select the same custom superstar you used. Your stats should remain the way you left them. A prompt stating that your selection is already being used in story mode will appear, and warn you that you will be deleting your current path. Choose "Yes", and you'll be back to the start in story mode, but will still keep your improved stats. Note: If the glitch does not work the way it should, you can do one of two things. The first is to copy your improved superstar, then enter the copy into story mode, choosing "New". Fight as far as desired, distribute the stats again, and save the game. Then, exit and go to Create A Wrestler mode again and copy the copy. Repeating this cycle is tedious, but assures you perfect stats. The second method is to enter Create A Wrestler mode, save the game, and go back into story mode.

Glitch: HHH: Bad grammer
In story mode on the second to last event (confrontation), HHH will go to the ring. Instead of saying "If I were you" he will say "If were you" followed by the rest of the sentence.

Glitch: Easy Fatal Four Way Cage match win
When you are in the Fatal Four Way match with Christian, Kane, and Shawn Micheals, after about four or five matches they will just stand still, even when you go to escape. They will not move unless you hit them.

Glitch: Television image
In the SmackDown part, look at the television. It will display Raw.

Glitch: Three Amigos
Use Eddie and make sure you have an arena with the announcer's table next to the stage. Get a special with Eddie and do the Three Amigos so that the opponent will get smashed though the table. Instead, you will be on the mat (floor) doing the Three Amigos animation, and the opponent will be on the table falling in the Three Amigos animation. On the third one, you and the opponent will fall through the announcer's table.
