Primary Collection of Cheats
Cheat gnome
Quickly press [Down], [L], [Z], [R], [X], [Left] during game play. The cheat gnome will appear somewhere in the district.
Maximum Physical skill
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Quickly press [R], [Z], [Down], [Y]x2 during game play.
Maximum Artistic skill
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Quickly press [R], [Y], [Up], [Z], [Down] during game play.
Raise motives
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Quickly press [Down], [R], [Left], [X], [Down].
View development team
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Quickly press [Up], [Down], [A], [Up], [Down], [A] at the credits screen.

Hints
Easy money
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code, then the "Power Socials" code as many times as desired. Sell the Power Social items obtained. You can repeat this as much as desired.
Enable the "Cheat gnome" code, then select all the Physical and Mental motives. You can then go to a cash register and sell them for money.
Go to the South Side Bridge. Go to the Lucky Six and cheat on any of those games. You will bet 500 Simoleons but walk away with 1,000 Simoleons.
Easy rep
Go to Skyline Beach and get past the bouncer at midnight. You might need the style and some, but it will be worth it. Someone will give you a Power Social. Start to use it on everybody. Keep in a good mood and keep using it. You will become the player on Skyline Beach.
Socials that are green are more likely to succeed; however red socials can reap larger rewards, just at a higher risk to your current reputation.
Get to all the sides of the areas. You can get all the pieces to Darius' secret machine. If you go to all of them and stop the opponent with power socials, when you get all of the pieces you will unlock Darius' penthouse. Go on the train there and throw a party to get a lot more reputation.
Easy fun
Once you can go to Skyline Beach, you can go to the shop and get it. Whenever you need fun, go home and use it. It also raises your hygiene.
Restore energy
There is a chair in Gasoline Row with flames on it. It can restore your energy
Better mood
You can get your mood up all the way by creating another character and making sure that the Sim in the bad mood is in the apartment. Play with the new character for awhile, then go back to the main character. He or she will be in a very good mood.
Secret bonus closet
When you move to the Blankwood Towers apartment, there is a secret closet. You cannot put it in your inventory, so it cannot go in other apartments. Its secret clothing depends on your Urbz's gender. Males will get Darius' tracksuit, with glasses, shoes and hat. Females will get Roxanna Moxie's costume, including hat and leggings. Roxanna Moxie is a character from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS version of the game. Both secret sets of clothing are neutral for all districts.
Hidden Power Socials
Look in the dumpster in Blankwood Towers. You will find a Blast I Kiss in it, but look twice.
Spend some time in every dumpster. You will be rewarded for "DumpsterDiving".
All over the city there are Power Socials. Instead of going into the clubs and getting them off Darius, you can keep looking in every bin in every part of town.
Placing objects
You can buy and place objects in any of the districts. Just buy it or put it in your inventory then place it in any district. Note: If you place too many objects the chance of a fire increases.
Use the following trick to pick up and place items when you do not have anything in your inventory. When in the PDA screen, go to "Inventory" then press [Y]. You will now be able to place and pick up items.
Career recommendation
The easiest career is the modeling job, in Diamond Heights. It gets you the most money; and the combinations do not move and do not have a time limit when to press them.
Avoid buying extra items
When you get to Diamond Heights, you do not need to buy things such as chairs, toilets, sinks, and tables. Go to your inventory, and move items that are already in the building.
Good items for free
Go to a place with something that you want. Then, go into your inventory and press [X] to go into grab object mode. Grab the object you want then press [X] to put it in your inventory. Note: If it is an object for fun, make sure that there is still something fun for the other Urbz to do. This does not work on snack machines.
Sims reference
When the music comes out of the Cozmo Street Dance Van, some of the symbols will be conversation topics from the original Sims.
