Survival mode
Quickly press [Up], [Down], [Left], [Right], [Left], [Down], [Up], [B], [A], [Start] at the Capcom logo.

Easy special moves
While fighting in a single player battle, press [Select]. This will allows you to pull off special moves with easy movements. For example, as Ryu press [Forward] + [Punch] for the Fireball, and the Fireball move now does the Dragon punch. This makes the game much easier to play with the small D-Pad.

In game-reset
Press [Select] + "Start "during gane game play select for options to continue, change the button codes, or exit the fight.

Super Akuma (Shin Gouki)
Accumulate 9999 vs. points.

Gallery mode
Accumulate 8000 vs. points. Alternately, successfully complete the game under skill setting 8 without using any continues. Press [R] at the main menu to view character art in the gallery.

Easy barrel and car mini-games
To beat up the car in the bonus round quickly, use E. Honda. Do the Hundred Hand Slap ([Punch] rapidly) on one side of the car, then jump over to the other side and do it again. If done quickly enough, you can destroy it in under ten seconds. To break all twenty barrels quickly, use Blanka. When the bonus round starts, go into the light where the barrels fall out. Then, without stopping, constantly use the Shock attack ([Punch] rapidly). All the barrels will fall into the electricity, breaking them instantly. These are good ways to get a lot of points.
