Commentary on original beginning and ending
Insert Disc 2 (Special Features). Select the "Deleted/Alternate Scenes" option at the main menu. Highlight the arrow to select a scene, then press [Up]. A patch of blood will be highlighted. Press [Enter] to see a clip of the writers and director talking about the intended opening and ending of the film.
Behind the scenes clips
Insert Disc 2 (Special Features). Select "The Production" option at the main menu. Then, highlight the "Freddy & Jason Go To Development Hell Pt. 1" option. Press [Right] and four slash marks will be highlighted. Press [Enter] to behind the scenes clips.
Third alternate ending
Insert Disc 2 (Special Features). Select the "Deleted/Alternate Scenes" option at the main menu. Highlight the "Elm St." sign and select it. There is a short commentary from the producers and designers on a third alternate ending, including sketches and play-by-play actions.
DVD credits
Insert Disc 2 (Special Features). Press [Down] at the main menu until the New Line Cinema logo is highlighted. Press [Enter] to view the DVD's production credits.
